TAMPA, Florida – Next year, a giant Confederate flag may tower above the tree line near the junction of Interstate 75 and Interstate 4. The Sons of Confederate Veterans wants drivers in the Tampa area to see the massive flag — 30 feet high and 50 feet long — atop a 139-foot pole, the highest the Federal Aviation Authority would allow. It would be lit at night. More… Discount Magazine SubscriptionsDiscount Cigarettes & TobaccoNutty News MarketplaceCaribou Coffee Company

It is not racist you idiot. It is their history. You people want to make everything you don’t like racist. Get over it.

Everything is racist to some people.

Money should be spent to help the poor, deperate people that can’t eat because they lost their jobs and homes. Get over the Civil War and the flag it represented is old news and we shouldn’t glorify in the past and neglect the present.

If white people were allowed to have some part of their own culture (examples could include: schools having both Caucasian and African Amercian pride clubs, White history month, white people could wear white pride shirts without getting called racist) maybe they wouldn’t steal everyone else’s culture, aka wiggers.

the poor need to get off their asses and work for themselves. That bullshit ideology of the money should be spent on the poor is nothing more than socialized theft.

The Negro College fund. Need I say more? Point to a publicly announced fund for white people. You cannot. It does nto exist.

So.. STFU, its a stupid flag. You know… kinda like the Black Panther, Black Power, Rainbow Col. Flags and banners. That one, happens to be much older. It does not stand for racism.

What it stands for is much deeper than you obvious understand about history. The civil war… was NOT about slavery… it became about slavery but it was not about it at all.

Go read a history book that does not come from a “govment” school. Try learning something that actually happened then make a comment. Otherwise… Keep showing your ignorance.. it is funny.
