Australia – A former pest exterminator lost in the Australian Outback desert for four days survived by eating termites and other insects, police said Wednesday. Gold prospector Theo Rosmulder, 52, from the southern state of Victoria, was suffering from dehydration but otherwise in “surprisingly good condition” after being spotted by local Aborigines on Tuesday about 6 miles (10 kilometers) from his camp, Western Australia state police Sgt.     Why do they say he is an ex exterminator. Sounds like he was exterminating a whole lotta bugs just to stay alive. Of course I am sure he would have rather used pesticide.

    it is amazing what a human will do to eat/survive. We did it in DWT and MWT. You get tossed out in the wild for a month with nothing but basics such as a knife and what you would have if you jumped into an enemy LZ you will eat what you need to eat to live. If you do not chew there are many insects/bugs and plants that you can intake to survive. Kudos to the man for doing what was necessary and keeping his head and wits about him enough to do so.
