Florida – Police arrested a man who they said posed as a police deputy by stealing his father’s police vehicle and pulling over motorists. Sunrise police said 19-year-old Myco Lee Coker took his father’s unmarked Broward Sheriff’s Office vehicle and conducted traffic stops in the Sunrise area at around 4:30 a.m. Monday. Police said Coker, who was wearing a BSO deputy shirt, pulled over motorists with a male friend in the police car. Luggage system breakdown delays JFK flights – American Airlines send off 67 flights without luggage

NEW YORK – A software glitch crippled the baggage handling system in an American Airlines terminal at Kennedy Airport on Wednesday, delaying some flights and causing a luggage pileup at the ticket counters. The malfunction created big problems throughout the day for passengers flying out of Terminal 8, one of the newer buildings at JFK. The airline had about 67 scheduled departures at JFK on Wednesday. Boy Arrested for Hundreds of Obscene and Threatening 911 Calls

CRITTENDEN COUNTY, Arkansas – The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department says a 12 year-old West Memphis, Arkansas boy was arrested for making obscene and threatening 911 calls. According to Thomas Martin with the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department, the child started making the calls in May. Martin say the 12 year-old made about 350 911 calls in just one month. The calls started as hang-ups, but then the kid started making threats and saying very obscene things to the 911 operators, said Martin. HONOLULU – A veterinarian administered euthanasia by injection to the whale, and the Coast Guard transported it to Oahu. Scientists from Hawaii Pacific University performed a necropsy on the whale, but they said may never know what caused its death. “There’s so many things that could happen to the animal, that we can’t necessarily point to one thing, but if we can rule out a lot of different things, then we can at least narrow it down,” HPU professor Brenda Jensen said. The folks over at Movie Mistakes have comprised a list of “oops” they found in the ‘The Dark Knight.’ Eagle-eyed fans have spotted 16 mistakes, as opposed to 12 in the first film. Here are some of the mistakes they found: In the car chase, the convoy has 2 police cars at the back, behind the SWAT van. A garbage truck pulls up next to the convoy and takes out the second to last cruiser first.
