UK – About 3,000 people were sent documents telling them they had been recorded as being from Guyana, in South America, on an updated electoral roll. South Cambridgeshire District Council said the nationality of those affected was on the current roll as “unknown”. It said new software would not allow them to remain without a nationality, but the software has now been updated.     I think it’s kinda funny that 3,000 people in the United Kingdom don’t know what their nationality is. I mean, they’d have to be a total Euro-Mutt to not have any distinquishing features of any of the world’s cultures. Hell, a woman looked at me and pegged my family as being from north-eastern Ireland and Scotland. Is it really so hard to figure out?

    Seems like the computer said, “You don’t know? That’s ok, we’ll find something for you.”
