MIAMI – An American teen-ager survived for nearly four months without a heart, kept alive by a custom-built artificial blood-pumping device, until she was able to have a heart transplant, doctors in Miami said on Wednesday. Wisconsin – A Wisconsin operating room nurse’s license has been suspended after she was caught allegedly working legally drunk at least twice, WGBA TV reported Tuesday.
Cindy Elizabeth Kocian, worked at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wisc., allegedly had a blood alcohol level of .095 on Oct. 22, 2007.
