I will never understand why people live in such miserable conditions when they can just move down south.

    Poor old guy.

“Marvin E. Schur died ‘a cheap, broke-ass death’.”

    Fix’d

comment #1: Not everyone thinks that living in the south sounds like something they’d like to do. After all, crazy people swarm to warm weather regions. (hello Florida, Louisiana, California, etc!)

Only the strong can survive winters here in the North. Not to mention the proven fact that we’re also much smarter and we have a MUCH better work ethic. We rock!

Electric company should be held up on manslaughter charges. Power companies are far to quick to disconnect customers these days.

His power wasnt completely disconnected. This idiot is the one who didnt reset the limiting device they installed. He brought it upon himself.

He never was told how to restore power (and yes, some people don’t even know how to reset a circuit breaker). Power company at fault. They need to pay up. We pay them enough; it’s their turn.

This in response to the Anonymous Genius in the north…just who in the heck has PROVEN that you yankees are so much smarter and have such a better work ethic?!?! It certainly wasn’t the poor guy who didn’t know how to reset his electicity “limiter” nor was it the smart ass in Wisconsin who stole a car and then called the cops on himself AFTER he crashed it!!! Ignorance knows no geographical bounds…your comments alone have proven that!!!

Aknow fact is, the brain shrinks with age. He needed to be checked on, or better yet… live with family… I am taking care of a parent like this. neighbors need to check on elderly people. They forget and the old brain is limited as to what it can process….

To be honest I actually hope I never make it to 93. If he was that incompetent, he shouldnt have been by himself.

Power companies fault. You shouldn't b allowed to limit peoples power in the winter. Deregulation & stupid Public Utility codes….

  13. Anonymous Says:

Then why on earth should people pay their electric bill in winter, if the power company isn’t allowed to turn off the juice? How about this, don’t neglect to pay your bills in winter because your life actually depends on it.
