SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – A performer with an aerial acrobatic troupe fell to his death Tuesday during a show in front of hundreds of people in Scottsdale.
Scottsdale police Sgt. Mark Clark says the 30-year-old man fell during what he described as a Cirque du Soleil-type performance in which the man slowly unravels his body from a sash while suspended in the air.
