Australia – A slide at a Melbourne housing estate playground is being watched by security around the clock after it was deemed too dangerous for small children. Urban developer Villawood Properties said it had paid security to guard the slide at Alamanda Estate Point Cook day and night for the past three months to make sure children below 1.28m tall did not use it.     How utterly stupid. Why not just lock every kid in their own padded room to make sure they dont hurt themselves. Talk about wasting money.

    australia, wasn,t there an article not long ago about how the cops down under are afraid of their sidearms and must simulate target practise with video games. the children are also intimidated by red ink. what the heck is going on down there.
