Nurse rapist sentenced to 210 years

INVERNESS – A former Citrus County hospital nurse convicted 14 years ago of raping sedated patients has been sentenced to 210 years in prison.
A circuit judge on Wednesday gave 60-year-old Bruce Alan Young seven consecutive 30-year prison terms, because he violated his probation when he escaped from a mental facility last year.

California – An Oakland man has been charged with animal abuse for allegedly breaking the front legs of a Pomeranian puppy in front of its owner, the deaf 11-year-old daughter of his girlfriend, authorities said Friday. The California Highway Patrol said a 20-year-old man drove his Honda Accord off State Route 299 and over an embankment into several trees Thursday night.
