DETROIT, Mich. — Southwest Flight 1402 from Phoenix, bound to Detroit, was delayed Saturday and airline officials said one woman was to blame.

Des Moines – A Brody Middle School student may be taking the hit movie and book “Twilight” too seriously. A 13-year-old boy at the Des Moines school was referred to juvenile corrections after allegedly biting 11 students between Feb. 10 and March 13, a Des Moines police report said. According to the report, the boy bit a 13-year-old female student on the right hand at a track meet on March 13. New York – State police say a turkey vulture injured a passenger when it crashed through a minivan’s windshield. The soaring carrion eater crashed into a red Dodge Caravan at about 8:15 a.m. on Interstate 80 in Parsippany. It struck Vanessa Hurtado, 32, of Hopatcong, in the face, causing minor cuts and getting glass in her eye.

An estimated 80 cats and one dog were found Thursday living in a home in a million-dollar neighborhood in Morris County.
