cigarillosWisconsin – A convenience store clerk who saw two masked men enter the store via surveillance camera locked himself in the store’s office, thwarting the crook’s attempts to get into the cash register, police said. The clerk locked the office door and called 911. The clerk said they didn’t get into the cash register, but a couple of cigarillos could be missing.   Full Article

Woman does not recognize the state of Montana

Ford, 37, is accused of stealing a Lolo home – first by attempting to transfer the property deed over to herself, and then by physically moving in and changing the locks. “Jackiya does not want to enter a plea because she does not recognize the state of Montana as the entity,” said Paulette Ferguson, the public defender representing Ford.  Full Article

police5Houston, Texas – Three Houston police officers have been assigned desk duties as city and federal authorities scrutinize the arrest of a local Chinese diplomat who says police hit him in the face during a traffic stop. Yu said he was traveling with his wife in a consulate vehicle when he saw a police patrol car with flashing lights behind him. Yu said he stopped his vehicle and waited several minutes, but drove off when the officer remained in his car and took no apparent action.  Full Article

Man Shoots Neighbor With Bow & Arrow Over Parking

bowPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania – Just after 11 p.m., police received a report that a man, identified as Anthony Giovannini, 35, was struck with what he believed was a rock as he was walking inside of his house on the 400 block of Franklin Street. Giovannini told police that after being struck, he looked and observed his neighbor, later identified as Robert Wood, 41, entering his home. Bystander stops bank robbery

car1PALM BAY, Florida – It took 62-year-old Ruben Torres a New York minute to become a Palm Bay hero. That was the amount of time it took for the off-duty security guard to spot a suspected bank robber in the lobby of the Space Coast Credit Union, retrieve his gun, and hold the bandit until patrol officers arrived. Police credit Torres — who has a concealed-weapons permit — with thwarting the bank robbery at the credit union at 152 Malabar Road.  Full Article

Police dismiss robbery in progress as stag night

Anna Mae Godfrey, 21, 1101 D St., was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault after an incident outside a house party on the 7400 block of Greenwood Street. Three-year-old terrorist suspect arrested

The child – identified only as Daniel – is the son of an illegal immigrant from the Paris suburb of Juvisy. The pair were arrested as they returned to their car after visiting a leisure centre. faa1Boulder, Colorado – Ken and Carol Marcoux pulled their Toyota Prius over to the side of Independence Road to catch a tow plane and glider take to a beautiful blue sky, they spotted a small plane coming in from the east. To the couple’s horror, the plane — whose pilot was later identified as Joe Curtis, 67, of Commerce City — was pointed right at their car and approaching at what Marcoux estimated was 100 mph. Surgeons remove hot-sauce bottle from inmate

Taxpayers will end up paying the prisoner’s medical bills, expected to run into the thousands of dollars. The video shows the unknown robber walking up to Kabredlo’s, a Lincoln store, as a clerk was smoking outside.
