Man used stolen tow truck to steal vehicles, cops say

Lakeland cops believe that Aaron Weber was using the stolen tow truck to steal other vehicles, chop the vehicles, and sell off the parts or scrap them.
When they caught up with the wanted man, Weber was driving a blue 2000 International roll back tow truck with a black pickup and dumpsters filled with various vehicle parts on the flat bed, according to a news release from the Lakeland Police Department.
The tag on the tow truck did not match the truck. The vehicle identification number (VIN) was also removed from the tow truck as well as from the black pickup on the bed of the tow truck, according to the release. Full Article
