Man used fake cash to make $2 garage sale purchase

Texas – A Pearland man has been charged with using fake money for a $2 garage sale purchase, according to the Friendswood Police Department.
Jimmy Weaver Estes,31, has been charged with forgery, police said.
A judge set $40,000 bail for Estes, who has prior arrests for assault, theft, burglary, forgery and drug charges.
Friendswood police responded to a call from the site of a garage sale in the 100 block of Brigadoon, where the suspect allegedly passed a $20 counterfeit bill to buy a $2 shirt. Full Article
