TALBOT COUNTY, Maryland - Is it child’s play or a serious threat of gun violence? For the second time in less than a month, a Maryland child is kicked out of school for using his finger in the shape of a gun.

There’s controversy at a Talbot County school after two 6-year-old boys were suspended while playing cops and robbers during recess and using their fingers to make an imaginary gun.

“It’s ridiculous,” said parent Julia Merchant.

    .
cowboys & Indians; cops & robbers…guess these idiots want to take away childhood games. pretty soon we won’t be able to “poke” someone on Facebook !

Shame on you Talbot County school.

Punishing a couple of 6 year olds for playing cowboys and indians or cops and robbers isn’t going to fix the violence issues of the world. These are kids…let them play. Expecting the youth of today to walk around on eggshells isn’t going to stop the Adam Lanza’s of the world. He was a mentally disturbed individual.Parents just need to pay attention to their children…know your kids and if you see warning signs get them help. Talk to your kids and educate them on guns and safety. And keep weapons locked away where kids don’t have access to them. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out this stuff out.
