hateHOUSTON - Cellphone video of a man attacking an elderly man two years ago, as part of the “knockout game,” shows the attacker narrating his crime and repeatedly laughing.

Conrad Alvin Barrett (picture), 29, recorded himself on his cellphone attacking 79-year-old Roy Coleman, who is African-American.

In the recording, Barrett questions whether there would be national attention if he attacked a person of color.

Barrett pleaded guilty to a hate crime, saying he attacked Coleman because of  his race and color in what Barrett called a “knockout” and is serving a 71 month prison sentence.  More   Video
