    If I don’t recognize a number, I hit answer and hang up almost immediately. This tricks the calling computer into thinking it reached a bad number. My robo-calls have dropped from at least 20 per week to less than 10 per month. If you have an answering machine, the phone gets answered and the line is now a good number.
