Police agency recruits fleet of month-old puppies

puppiesA new batch of law enforcers are joining Taiwan’s police force in the form of a litter of newborn puppies.

Taiwan’s National Police Agency on June 8 shared photos of the six puppies – named Lucky Star, Schumann, Feida, Brother, AJ and Full Moon — that will be put through training in hopes of becoming part of the country’s K-9 Unit.

The puppies, each only a month old, posed alongside an officer, on top of a police car and next to the sash they will wear if chosen to join the force.  More
