Grieving children search for heartless person who wrote a scathing obituary about their mother and sent it to a local newspaper

obitA scathing obituary for a great-grandmother in a North Carolina newspaper has left some members of the woman’s family devastated.

Cornelia June Rogers Miller, 82, from Gainesville, Florida, died in February but four months later a harsh obituary, which is believed to be plagiarized, was published in a North Carolina newspaper.

‘We speak for the majority of her family when we say her presence will not be missed by many, very few tears will be shed, and there will be no lamenting over her passing,’ the obituary published on June 27 in the Cherokee Scout said.  More
