childrenStrangers are raising money for three California children whose mother was eaten by a mountain lion while they were still grieving the death of their grandmother and deportation of their grandfather.

Santino, 10, Noah, eight, and Bella, six, are the children of Yin Wong, a 33-year-old Sacramento woman who was killed earlier this month.

Wong had gone walking barefoot in the middle of the night at the American River Canyon near Auburn. Police say she died of exposure but by the time she was found, a mountain lion had eaten some of their remains.

When she died, the children were still mourning the loss of their grandmother, Mayra Zamora, who died suddenly in February aged 55.  More
