DOVER, New hampshire - A school bus transporting five children in Dover had two wheels fall off, but the bus company owner says no one was injured.
The bus was taking four students home Monday afternoon when bus company official Garrett Scholes says a bolt sheared because of metal fatigue, allowing the two right rear wheels to fall off. WEST PALM BEACH, Florida - A woman has been arrested and charged with stalking a teacher who was fired for working in a bikini. Felisha Nally has been arrested and charged with stalking Tiffany Shepherd. Shepherd gained national attention when she was fired from her teaching job at Port St. Lucie High School for working on a charter boat featuring bikini clad and topless women. KANSAS CITY, Missouri - A mother and another woman face felony child-endangerment charges after a 14-year-old’s birthday party that ended with two young teens being taken to a hospital. Karen Christine Downs, 43, of Kansas City, and Kelsee Guest, 25, are accused of providing liquor and beer to six 13- and 14-year-olds at a February birthday party for Downs’ daughter. Two girls, one 13 and the other 14, passed out and were later taken to a hospital, according to court documents. Woman, 37, beats 69-year-old man over alleged affair

UMATILLA, Florida - A 37-year-old Umatilla woman accused of punching her 69-year-old live-in boyfriend in the head while he was taking a shower was charged with battery on a person over 65, according to a Marion County Sheriff’s Office report. Bobcat attacks Boy Scout in County park

Inverness, Florida - A bobcat attacked two people in separate incidents in Citrus County over the weekend. Johnathon Knecht, 10, and Frank Womack, 71, both sustained scratches and bites from their encounters on Saturday. Womack killed the bobcat in self defense.
According to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers, Knecht was hiking in the Withlacoochee State Forest with his Boy Scout group when the bobcat jumped onto his back, scratching and biting. Teacher charged with felonies in deaths of two cats

Florida - Two cats suffered so cruelly before dying, prosecutors say, that they decided to charge a Palm Beach County teacher with two felonies Monday. Police initially accused Allison Dinsmore, 26, of misdemeanor animal cruelty this month when her two cats’ wasted corpses were found in her Boca Raton apartment. Investigators said the Congress Middle School teacher’s cats clawed up the apartment in a frantic search for food as they starved for up to a month before they died.
