Beer choice touches off new debate

Washington DC - The upcoming White House meeting with Henry Louis Gates, Jr., and the Cambridge police officer who arrested him earlier this month appears to have touched off a fresh debate all on its own: what kind of beer should be served. The White House indicated each man would drink the beer of their choice — Bud Light for President Obama, Blue Moon for the police officer, and perhaps Red Stripe or Beck’s for Gates. Sam Adams would “make” them a new beer? Give me an effing break. I’d make Obama a beer too, he just might not like the ingredients.

This has become too much of a specticle; it’s like the moments leading up to the event are a fun game. I believe Obama had nothing to do with these events and he should have focused more on ‘President of the United States’ type matters.

Has anyone seen the pics of the sit down? They all had light beer except for Gates, he had a bark brew…who’s racist now Mr. Gates?

Hey, at least he wasn’t spending hundreds of thousands of dollars flying around the U.S. preaching his health care BS.
