Man steals deodorant to repay drug debt

DADE CITY, Florida - His nickname is Priest and he had a $40 drug debt to pay off. So on Thursday afternoon, Robert McCray - a 37-year-old felon with “Thug Life” tattooed on his chest - headed into a CVS Pharmacy on U.S. 301, according to the Dade City Police Department. He needed something to barter off his debt. Authorities say McCray chose deodorant. He stuffed 19 packages of antiperspirant - $84 worth - inside his jacket and tried to head outside, the police report said. Ironic story. Druggies in Alabama stole my daughters car. The car wasn’t found until the druggies were caught shoplifting deodorant to swap for drugs. the trunk was full if Secret deodorant.
? did the dealers smell ? or is this the new “currency” for addicts ?

WTF? Are we going to have to go through a criminal background check now too every time we want to buy deodorant? Like we have to with cold medicine. I cant imagine there is anything useful in deodorant for making drugs.
