Washington DC - Postal delivery was suspended Saturday for Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Southern Maryland, and Suburban Maryland. Patrick Murphy, spokesperson for the Postal Service for Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., made the announcement early Saturday morning as a blizzard continued to batter the Mid-Atlantic region.  Full Article

   This has happened to us Midwesterners several times this winter, but I don’t remember seeing it hit the news.

   ^^ I don’t know, but this new breed of postal workers aren’t nearly as dedicated as their predecessors were. And if you call them out for being irresponsible with highly sensitive materials, they WILL retaliate. Which is weird behavior from a govt agency. (sarcasm)

   come on, haven’t these guys ever heard of dog sled teams. i got to have my phone bill and walmart fliers no matter how many posties dissapear until the spring thaw.
