I have fond memories of growing up in a time where kids got to be kids without the fear of becoming wards of the state.
My dad filled our childhoods with fun, adventure and laughter. But if he were raising us in this ‘nannystate’ culture, he’d be charged with child endangerment every other day.
All 8 of his kids not only survived unscathed, but we’d all do it over again in a heartbeat!
