Parolee Undresses, Eats His Own Feces, Spits It At Police In Bizarre Arrest

fecesSAN FRANCISCO (CBSLA.com) — Police officers serving an arrest warrant in Northern California acted fast when confronted with a bizarre – and potentially hazardous situation.

Officers responded to a report of a wanted person in the North Richmond area about 20 miles northeast of San Francisco, but when they arrived the suspect gave a false name – one belonging to another man who also happened to have an arrest warrant – according to Richmond police.

When the suspect was taken into custody for the warrant and false impersonation, police say they also learned he was on parole, and decided to transfer him to county jail after he became “uncooperative” and “combative.  More

Beachgoers Run Over by Police Truck

truckA police officer accidentally ran over a couple of beachgoers on Long Island Sunday, officials say.

The officer, who was in a marked pickup truck, was on beach patrol in Long Beach just before sunset and was heading toward the water to notify people the beach was closed when he ran over two people.

Police said the beach was packed with people and the officer didn’t see the two people, who were on a beach blanket.   More

Police agency recruits fleet of month-old puppies

puppiesA new batch of law enforcers are joining Taiwan’s police force in the form of a litter of newborn puppies.

Taiwan’s National Police Agency on June 8 shared photos of the six puppies – named Lucky Star, Schumann, Feida, Brother, AJ and Full Moon — that will be put through training in hopes of becoming part of the country’s K-9 Unit.

The puppies, each only a month old, posed alongside an officer, on top of a police car and next to the sash they will wear if chosen to join the force.  More

Officer On Coffee Run Arrests Dunkin’ Donuts Robbery Suspect

donutsBOSTON – A Boston Police officer out for a coffee run arrested a man who allegedly robbed a Dunkin’ Donuts in Andrew Square.

At about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, the officer, in full uniform, was ordering his coffee when a man entered the restaurant and asked to use the bathroom.

An employee told the man that there was no public restroom.

The officer left the restaurant and was walking to his marked cruiser with his order when an employee ran outside and said, “He’s robbing us! He’s robbing us!”  More

Trooper pulls over woman with fake baby in Pass lane

Case in point is a woman pulled over recently by a Minnesota State Trooper for a suspected MnPass lane violation.
