The  woman technically died, gave birth and then was brought back to life.

Erica Nigrelli, an English teacher at Elkins High School in Missouri City,  Texas, collapsed in a co-worker’s classroom when she was 36 weeks pregnant.

“Apparently I told her, ‘I feel very faint,’ and I put my head down and I  essentially just passed out,” Erica Nigrelli said.

Erica’s husband, Nathan, is also a teacher at Elkins.

“I opened the door and walked in and Erica was laying on the floor,” he  said.  Full Article

The high school senior was arrested in February after a relationship she had with a younger, female student at her school came to light.

Her girlfriend, now 15, was not of legal age to be engaged in sexual behaviors with Hunt; now, she could face prison time.

Despite the family’s plea with the public and officials to throw out the charges, the government has no plans to comply with the parents’ request.

On Monday, the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office officially responded to the public uproar during a press conference. Authorities doubled-down on the charges against Hunt, CBS reports.

Despite furor from some who are focusing upon the fact that the case involves a same-sex relationship, police say that the facts would be the same regardless of the genders of those involved.  Full Article

Lisa Marie Grant, 34, of Suffolk was sentenced to six months in jail with all but one month suspended and fined $250 for the misdemeanor, according to court records.

The conflict started when the John Yeates Middle School bus driver sent Grant’s son home with a conduct notice.

According to the arrest warrant, the driver offered to talk to Grant through a side window but wouldn’t let her board the bus.

Grant “became very irate and began cursing” before blocking the path of the bus, the warrant said. Then, the warrant stated, Grant exposed her buttocks and one breast.

Oser said his client denies exposing her breast and only bared her underwear when mooning the bus.  Full Article

According to police, the charges against former Washington County Judge Paul Pozonsky will be prosecuted in Washington County by Senior Deputy Attorney General Michael Ahwesh.

Pozonsky sat on the bench for nearly 30 years, first as a magistrate and then in Common Pleas Court.

In May of 2011, Poznosky allegedly began to request that police bring the confiscated drugs into the courtroom.

In  another, premium liquor bottles were refilled with water and apparently not even clean water at that.

State officials provided those new details Thursday on raids they conducted a day earlier as part of a yearlong investigation dubbed Operation Swill.

Twenty-nine New Jersey bars and restaurants, including 13 TGI Fridays, were  accused of substituting cheap booze – or worse – for the good stuff while  charging premium prices.

Sandor Horvath, a retired firefighter, was riding his motorcycle near Budapest when the donkeys pulled him off, bit him and trampled him to death. Police said Horvath was likely dragged more than 150 feet before he died.

His injuries were so brutal that investigators initially thought he had been attacked by wolves, according to the Huffington Post.

His body was taken to the medical examiner for autopsy. His cause of death will determine the fate of the donkeys.

It is not known whether the man had any interaction with the donkeys beforehand, or whether the donkeys have any history of aggressive behavior.  Full Article

That’s exactly what Scott Simon did after getting into a fight with another man at a Waffle House in the early hours, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

On a recorded line, Simon can be heard telling someone else that he’s going to follow the victim home and kill him.

Minutes later, 33-year-old Nicholas Walker was shot and killed while driving his car onto Interstate 95 in Oakland Park.

Homicide detectives arrested Simon, 24, of Pompano Beach Tuesday night. He is charged with first-degree murder.  Full Article

Ronald Vasey had attempted suicide and made similar threats prior to his reported disappearance by family in Mesa County in 1987, the coroner’s office said in a release.

“All evidence gathered points to this being a suicide,” the coroner’s release said.

Russell O’Rourke, 35, said his painted the Southend, England, house while his  brother, Steve, 32, and his bride, Hayley, 31, were on their two-week honeymoon on the Greek island of Rhodes, The Mirror reported Wednesday.

Russell said Steve built a 4-foot-high brick wall across his driveway while Russell was on his own honeymoon six years ago.

“What you reap is what you sow,” Russell said.
