She’s been in the hospital for about two weeks.

Last Saturday Nancy’s husband, Dale, was devastated when Sissy unexpectedly ran away from home

“We looked up and there was this dog just that was just running across the lobby,” said Mercy Security Officer Samantha Conrad.

It’s a surprise visitor no one expected: a dog in a hospital. Security cameras caught it all. Just like anybody would, Sissy wondered through two automatic doors and strolls right into Mercy Medical Center.  More

kittyRIVERSIDE - A 37-pound kitty has been brought to the Riverside Cat Hospital with a medical condition.

The hospital staff say they’ve never seen a cat this large. Cats generally weigh between 8-10 pounds.

“This is the heaviest cat I have seen by far in my 10 year veterinary career,” said Dr. Nichole Agarwal, of the Riverside Cat Hospital.

The cat’s nickname? Biggie, of course. He’s described as “very sweet and docile.”

“Cats with this level of obesity have a much higher propensity for many diseases such as diabetes and lower urinary tract disease,” Dr. Agarwal added.  More
